Sod it for that price I'd drive the car to the circuit, race it and drive it home again. If it got trashed I'd get it recovered via a friendly company I use at work.
I'd be up for it but would look to share a car rather than do it all myself as I don't have a massive disposible income currently due to looking at buying another house.
