Paint smell seems to be dropping off thankfully.
Pity I can't picture it properly, I hadn't realised but the flake in the paint is awesome on the cam cover.
The cars quite low, maybe why the wheels look big?
The number plate was a 'fat finger' mistake when ordering them lol I forgot the space in the middle.
Cheers Dan, it's not as clean close up as it looks in the photos, plenty of time and money required until I am happy.
Think next up is a new bonnet (possibly a glass fibre one with aero catches) to get rid of the dents, then alloy refurb in a nice bright silver and sort a few bodywork bits out...
As its boiling out (29 Degrees here) it seemed ideal to sort out a job I have been meaning to do for ages.
Before:
After:
Cleaned it up and a few coats of High Temp metallic grey followed by a couple of coats of High Temp lacquer.
Finish is not the best, but it certainly looks...
Just keep an eye on it, so long as its secure just for now you should be good.
Just don't loose the bolts or leave it to long that it falls off into the bay.
Get the tools and it will take 30sec to sort.
Where your finger is on the photo look down on the 'front' of the block of metal and you will see a number of holes.
The bolts are up two of them, you won't 'see' them as they are inside the guard.
You need a ratchet with a small extension bar on to get at them.
I genuinely laughed out loud when I read the above.
I have no idea what's going on in here and can't be assed to read the whole thread, but it must be good, Synopsis anyone?
