I use Pagid blue pads (not cheap but I rate them and have 2 sets now), excellent from cold and never had any fade from them at all (even after a very very late braking manoeuver into the melbourne loop) and HC pads at the front, rears are standard.

With a FWD car there is so little rear brake force used it seems a bit of a pointless upgrade. I can see the need for the fronts but surely you'll be forever locking the rear wheels up under hard braking.

Did the sniper challenge last night and got 450 on my first go. Still trying to win £1500 at poker, got up to £900 last night and got bored so went off croc hunting. Totally finished clearing the first island last night so only a couple of missions left to do I think and then on to island two.

Hide and seek is the silenced pistol on. I have done the pistol challenge, grenade, rpg and car and shotgun (got 780 on the shotgun one) so far. Think there are 12 in all it tells you in the handbook.

When you do the Rakiak grenade and RPG mission you get choppers come at you, managed to get some huge scores on both those levels.

AMR being the specialised sniper weapon? If its the one that sends everyone you hit back 5 ft then I have used it on two camps and caused full no mayhem but decided to go a bit stealthier from now on as its more of a challenge.

That's an option yes but not all camps have animals. I shot a leopard out at a camp and it killed 1 guy before they shot it. Then everyone was stood in one place, an ariel c4 run would have been ideal but no such option sadly.

I've not played this since I got FC3, need to get back online as its double points week. Currently lvl 90 so would like to get to lvl 100 by end of Jan.

I actually had the same happen to me, the key slipped off the locknut whilst tightening them up and caused the same problem. I managed to sort it but I took them off and replaced them for a Renault set I had lying about.

So Chip if I'm reading this right you can put the 197 head and inlet stright onto a 172 bottom end and due to the size of the ports enabling the engine to breath better will see power gains (although small if staying NA). What sort of gains would you see with cams on it? Any idea?

If you stealth the outposts without the alarm going off or being detected you can get up to 1500xp's as well, helps get skill points to enable you to make things faster or even douible up on collecting hides and plants.

Long read, interesting changes to the car, funny arguments and comments. Just a point if you don't take the bonnet bra off on a regular basis it will mark your bonnet where it sits especially when water gets under it.

BF3 aftermath and close quarters for me. Really enjoying FC3 but graphic isues and glitches in the game play just knock it off the top spot.

Top mount or maybe the drive shaft, collapsed shock but I guess you would have known immediatly if the shock had failed.
