Yep deffo sounds like the diff circlip :( problem is once they pop they don't stop. A ghetto fix is to have the circlip welded in situ - my Williams had this done, lol. Other than this you could keep replacing it (did this twice and then got pissed off), new gearbox or replace with a bolt in...

£90 of eBay for a pair of genuine Renault discs complete with bearing and ABS ring. Piece of pisch to fit, but you do need a big socket (sorry cant remember what size) to undo the axle nut.

Yep a strong sealant is best.

Yes they can be repaired, I have just repaired a pair with exactly the same issue :) yes fiddly and thin fingers are required. what the hardest thing is finding a replacement white adjuster section.

And fit BMW struts :)
