I have a RB182 that's had its belts done by you guys before I bought it, that was based in Northwich too so maybe your thinking of this one? I will be needing a service soon ;)

I had this on my old one, I changed the top engine mount and it sorted the noise out straight away. And when i did change the upper gearbox mount it was a nightmare of a job because it's really fiddly with not much room and the bolts weren't coming off how they should. If you havent done it yet...

I know it's a bad picture but that was just to show the area where the damage is because I had to get really close on the other pictures and looking at them alone makes it difficult to see it.
I don't actually know if the previous owner put spacers on, I'll have a look later.
Hi guys, I was driving home earlier down some b roads and went from going down hill to uphill on a bend and heard a noise, then going round bend i could hear rubbing and this was the outcome.

That's the whole point of the act, you don't have to prove it wasn't fit for purpose. What is needed though is for the car to last a reasonable amount of time which clearly the OP's and yours didn't. They are the facts.
