Yes they can be fitted. They sit on plastic trim/clips. You will need to make sure you buy the skirts as well as the securing plastic pieces. Drill and rivets are needed.
Below you can see the difference between proplates and fancyplates
The nice and thick acrylic plate is fancyplates and the flimsy thin one is proplates .
For the little extra it's worth going for fancyplates .
The fancyplates plate still has the protective film on.

@ZachB . After seeing yours I had to do the same. DCI clocks off ebay. Swapped the surrounds and machine polished the glass till it was perfect.
