I was looking through a Fast Ford mag earlier as I knew i'd seen a pic of the Escort recently.
In the Nov Cossie special theres a pic of it on an article for the RS national day:)
Did you partake in the Bruntingthorpe shoot out ?
How comes you decided to break it up ?
You can turn the interior sensors off yeah. I think you have to turn they key back & forth a few timers (but not so it starts the car) It'll then make a beep noise.
What year (reg) is your car ?
I didn't see the car at a meet etc, I randomly pulled up next to it at some lights round Lakeside I think it was, I was drooling though I know that much !!
 !! Wow !!!
M.A. Developments did the work ? (i've seen some of thier cars, madness!) Was it still a 2.0 block etc ?
I'm...
I'd try & find out what make it has fitted to it. If it's a cat1 or 2 it should in theory have a certificate with it.
If you can't find out, maybe your local alarm & car audio place will help you out.
Keeping prices higher stops all the chavs buying them. Old style sport badges are £3 in Halfrauds - which mean a lot of chavs buy them.
Tbh I'd be wanting the painters to pay for them, or give half towards it, it's their fault !!
What alarm is it on it ?? Standard cat1 (cobra ones, I think) systems work on the key plip, they don't have a separate alarm fob.
The led should be down by the ash tray & one on the dials (iirc)
Is your car an import ?
Yeah there's *993YUM (I think it is) too, seen that one in a few Ford mags.
Shame yours is broken up now, it's lovely !! What was it making etc ?
I assume yours has done the rounds in the Fords mags too?
I always wanted an Escort Cos when I was a kid, I could make my childhood dream come...
