I think having to manual focus helps anyway. Ive been trying to do it more lately rather then relying on auto focus. The Nikon 50mm is deffo on my list.
No worries Luke, just wondered if i might no her. lol
Ditto! lol
Most of my pics here were taken with the 55-200mm VR. A few were the standard kit lens.

looking at the 3rd post (steve crane) i did try this method. Ended up...
When in manual mode the shutter speed should change when you move the dial and to set the aperature you need to hold down the +/- button near the shutter button.
LOL well the cars been sat on the road for most of the time as ive either not dared take it out on the roads or my arms to nakered to drive. Lol
Been through your neck of the woods a bit lately and no sign of you on the roads!
Cheers fella!
I have to agree actually. B&W seems to suit the conditions quite well.
I think this pic would look quite cool if it was B&W with just the postbox in colour. If i was a home id try it but dont have ps on this comp.
Cheers Revels. Thats one place i knew i was going to walk to to get a pic. Might go for another wander a bit later as we still have alot of snow on the ground.
Didnt even dare take mine out on the roads today. Instead i walked 6 miles. Ended up popping to A&E this evening as i well and trully stacked it on the ice and have nakered my shoulder again. Least the car stayed out of harm.
