Go to a sign/sticker shop and ask for a set of "number placques" (wink wink) and you can have what ever design, shape, size you want. :cool: This gets around the regulations so they dont have to record the cars details.

I must admit the Escort Cosssie is a true icon of a car and it deserves a shedload of respect. The problem occurs with road presence, the cossie 5 to 10 years ago would get rubber necked by everyone no matter who they were but IMHO this doesnt happen anymore and only like minded car...

For a Mk 1 Vee with 30-40k and NO cambelt done 10 grand is a fair price as Mk1 Vee's with cambelt done are fetching about 11000 and upwards as the mileage drops. :)

The clutches are a known weakness but drive the vee with respect and dont do 7000 rpm launches and you should be ok.
