Damn good clean
chris205 m/c polished the car for me yesterday, and I've spend the morning cleaning all the shuts, interior, wheels, glass and giving it a coat of Autoglym HD wax.
A few quick results photo's
More carbon bits next... :)
Clio badge has 2 locating pins behind it. I used a screwdriver wrapped in cloth to prise front off, rear as said is boot panel off, unbolt and scrape away the glue. There's a guide on here somewhere, guy with a Monaco blue did his badges white...
Hotel an der Nordschleife and Eddie the legend Mathers?!
Looks like an immense trip and some stunning cars, off there in June and staying in the same place - view from that balcony is immense!
Carbon Badges (Finally)
After what can only be described as a right faff on with Streamline, badges have finally arrived.
Rear sits perfect, the front still needed packing with some cardboard as it pivots from side to side... for an expensive product still not the best quality.
They do...
I'm thinking of having the Turini's refurbed at some point this year, and may get some 182 wheels to run over the winter.
I've been thinking of possibly doing the winter wheels a whacky colour, not sure if I'll ever do it BUT...
Could someone PS the 182 wheels on my car below red (Capiscum...
I'm aware of the issues that existed with the bonnet catches on the Clio's, however I think this is unrelated.
When the bonnet is shut, it doesn't actually sit flush, as can be seen in this picture:
However it is possible to push it down so it sits flush, but it just springs back up...
I think you need to short pins 1 + 5 on the plug to see if it's the resistor, there's a few threads about it. Resistor Pack £130ish from Renault I think.
Mine was the blower motor itself mind...
Not exactly a huge update, but banged an alloy footrest in...
Bit rough round the edges 2bh, but it'll do the job.
Just need some Recaro's now, but cannot justify that kind of money atm, other things to spend money on...
Think it's just a 14mm socket and the arm site on a spline mate, pull it up and shift it round.
Cheers, I feel it's finally the car it should have been from the factory!
I didn't do it mate, I think it was a guy called Kirton on here as he owned the car at one point. Only two that aren't done are the ones on the drivers side window switches
IMO the Apex was poor, the back sat far too low and it looked broken. I like the look of the sportlines, low but not...
Decided to add some carbon trinkets to the interior (Thanks to extremeinferno on here)
Gear Knob Insert:
Hazard Surround:
And a quick pic of some lemon meringue pie action in the winter:
Next came some problems...
Rear Eibach snapped:
Great service from K-tec, new set arrived...
As I've got an hour or two to kill, thought I'd document the progress of my 182.
I bought the car in August 2010 after selling my Fabia vRS, drop in mileage due to job change allowed for a more fun car.
When purchased the car had just under 51k miles on it. Unfortunately, at the time I didn't...
Lol I was waiting for the bump and drop as the wheels went over the front!!!

Bonxy, scott1205 and myself had a good ride out over the moors and up to the Hartside Cafe - much fun was had by all, tyres and brakes we're certainly warm...
Bit photo crazy...
Nice and clean to start off with:
Up at Hartside Cafe:
Just down the road from High Force near an epic...
