Appreciate you opening my eyes to this. I had never heard of a DI vessel. Im guessing it takes out all the minerals from the water. Can you link to where one can buy this DI vessel . By "rolling the vessel" do you mean you have to do that everytime you use it or just once the first time you use it.
Just getting one click and the lights going a bit dim whilst you do it would point to the starter motor - Its possible one of the cables has dropped off it. Its behind the engine under the exhaust manifold - look below the middle 2 exhaust ports and see if you can see or feel any loose cables -...
Yes, can confirm as I have one. Just use the existing struts. Boot opens all the way without hitting the spoiler. That's one of the advantages of the replica. Also buy the primered one as it will save you a bit of grief.
Haha, at Origine rs there were more silver 182's than pb's.
Only 21 left! Wow! hoping to find one that is being broken as I need a bootlid, chances of that are stupidly slim though.
Also another thing which I would do If i could go back is to spray the bolt head of the caliper securing bolts. Although they are coated in some sort of black coating they do rust quite quickly. They are hex cap bolts so can easily spray just the head. let me get you a pic so you can see for...

This is the stuff. this was the first link so might be cheaper if you look around.
Yes its definitely worth having, there is 2 parts to it - the anti squeal pad (looks like black gaffer tape) and also some ceratec anti squeal brake grease.
I run DS2500 pads on my brembos which are quite prone to squeal and they are silent.
You get 4 sticky back pads , they will need to be cut...
That problem is a right pain. Have had it once myself years ago.
Its a gamble as to what is causing it but a few of the top of my head are:
gearbox earth strap
check fuses under bonnet - wiggle them
try the second key
or new UCH...
@notfastnotfurious strange you are getting so much wheel spin and dodgy steering, is that just in 1st and second gear ? Be careful with wheelspin as that is what will kill your gearbox quickest. My turbo 182 is pretty good with wheelspin, its well worth getting decent tyres if you havent...
You can lay the engine on its back on a tyre in the boot. I used a piece of 12mm ply to spread the weight under the tyre. The tyre holds the engine snugly and acts like a shock absorber for it.
I used an audi a3 but it would fit in a clio boot I reckon. you need two people to lift the engine in.
you will need a 15 degree hose with long legs . it will need to be cut down a little. ASH sell it. you will then also need to cut the bracket a little by the head light.
The seats look amazing. Absolutely stunning. Well jealous.
I tried to get to @dablk 's house for 8:30 to see you as I was there to pick up some bits too but missed you by 10 minutes.
It's the same size and thread as the engine sump plug but a little shorter. Im glad I saw @NorthloopCup 's reply that there already is a magnet as I was going to get a magnetic gearbox sump plug.
