I'm with chip, I don't know the ins and outs of it. As we don't know what lead up to this it's hard to comment as a lot of car drivers are idiots when they think they're protected by a bit of tin they become rocky. (especially 4x4's & rep mobiles)

Only if you can do all the work yourself though mate, theres still going to be a fair amount of fabrication involved amongst all the little silly things you find on your way.
Not to mention the fact that a 172 engine would be pish running 4x4. You'd be better off dropping something already boosted in their with plenty of potential.
