Hi mate I use www.bluedotrecovery.co.uk when i need to move my car about, usually very cheap and unlike some companys only charge one way.
Failing that do you not have breakdown recovery?
Lol yes the wheels, on my IPhone they look Red!
And yes I can read, I presumed you had put photos up for people's honest opinions rather than just to achieve an Internet bumming ;)
Different, can't say I dislike it, defiantly not my cup of tea though.
Can appreciate the work gone into it, has anything been done to the interior?
How do the rear lights work - photo needed.
How do you drive with no wing mirrors?
More photos of the front needed.
+1
You have a nasty shunt with the belts like that and I very much doubt you will walk away.... The harness will just slip down either side of the seat leaving you without any protection, not to mention what would happen if the airbag in the seat went off!
If your a B road Blaster and do the odd track day IMO without a doubt go for the 172 Cup.
If you like your comfort and do a fair bit of distance now and again got for the 197.
Both are very different cars.
I went for the Cup route and have not really looked back
Going on some of the epic CS Detective threads I have seen over the years, probably trace your family history back to the stone ages and prove the theory that the world was created by a greater being LOL.
Ah can't have been you then! Must be another very clean black 1*2 knocking about.
I have nothing constructive to add but....
I watched it and thought the town that everything was driving through looked like a bit of a Shithole (Although I can Talk I live near Watford :approve:) Then wondered if the people from Cali watched videos from out there and thought 'wow what a...
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
About to speak to Tom and give the go ahead for a New gearbox! Its about the only thing left now it can be! The car will probably still be down there when you drop yours off, although I am told my RS2 is on and all my Pipes so feel free to...
More shakes than a Crack ***** going through withdrawl IIRC And to think all these high flyers in BMW's etc pay for Vibrating seats.... Just buy a Cup LOL
The Subframe has been off the car (Or at the very least dropped) i believe as the box has been off the car to have the new clutch fitted, but I will mention your experiance just in case :)
Its such a Kick in the balls when its not a simple issue isnt it Nick... I'm sure you have Seen / Heard about my Cups Vibration issues and the ball ache its causing!
This is why I'm thinking new box. Rather not go 2nd hand, have it last 5 miles and be back to square one!
I'm keeping the car long term so is it worth the risk of a 2nd hand box?
Other alternative as above is Agency Transmissions rebuild, with diff replaced, will have to see what costs and...
Cheers Russ I presume a solid fly is a single mass?
By Balance shaft I mean one of these like on some of the 4 cyl BMW engines
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balance_shaft
I believe they can yes, but... If it's the diff that's gone that's not part of the rebuild and apparently the diff on it's own is a fair wack of money, so I'm wondering, take box out, rebuild put back in and find the diff has gone box back out buy diff fit then refit box Vs new box containing...
After the money I have spend / am spending to fix the issue a LSD of any type is not very high on my list of things to spend cash on ;) I'm gonna be paying the current bill and the cost of a new box of for the next few months!
