and Gotta go to Trowbridge on Sunday and will be driving back at night so not too happy. Anyway does anyone know how to fix this on the mk1 Clios - its not clicking onto it, just flaps around when you push it in
That is most likely correct tho as with most insurance companies. Norwich Union are useless ***ts tho. Anyway the most sensible option I can give for the topic would be to keep searching around for a cheap price - maybe try confused.com or try and wait a few years when you gain more ncd and the...
its a 1996 mk1 ph3 model. The fuel pump I have is from a Valver, which I think is external. Im letting my mates garage do it as im good at breaking things like that lol
Cheers for the guide - i'll get it translated and will give me something to do over the next weekend or so :) my cars putting out 70.45bhp with 78lbs of torque with the manifold, de-cat, scorpion exhuast from a Valver and ive run a cold air feed from the front bumper to the airbox. I maybe able...
Loving the car - unsure about the styling but I like it anway :) - When you got your old engine (the d7f) engine rolling roaded at 68bhp with your manifold, did you have a decat pipe fitted??
it says on the list BCP5ES sparkplugs on the list, whatever that is. its too dark now to go out and check but they are probably NGK plus of some sort. I maybe wrong tho
Yea was running fine before. its got plenty of petrol in it. Cars on 85k, Cambelt changed around 62k. They put the cat on and took it back off again once it passed the Mot, reaplced o.s c.v boot, engine oil flush, new oil filter, 4 litres of oil, 4 new spark plugs and 2 wiper blades they topped...
Well i got it back from service and mot today and im pretty certain some noob hasnt done them properly lol. idle speed control valve was replaced some time ago unless its the exhuast, which i doubt
Ive noticed today that Ive got a bit of a lumpy idle and that when I drive the car it sounds like the exhuast is makiing bubbling, blurbing noises (hard to describe) and the car has lost power. Could this be a problem with the spark plugs??
Also as my rocker cover still p!sses out oil I was...
Mine misrably failed its emissions today on the mot so gonna put the cat back on to hopefully get it through. One problem is I have thrown out my original manifold so if it still fails on it im kind of screwed :/
On the 1.2 8v diet engine I have I found that panel filters are best with cold air feed.
With a s/s exhuast system, manifold, de-cat, and panel filter my car got rr'd at 70.49 bhp
I saw on a website that a German bloke done the same mods but had an induction kit instead of a panel filter...
