Its actually my dads which i stole for the day but i cant wait till i can get my hands on some proper camera gear for myself
I had a wikid day at silverstone today. Saw some good racing and some stunning looking cars. Also got some good sunburn. LOL
Heres some of my pics that came out resonably well. My action pics still need work though
By the esso station and pug garage. You gave me a wave and i nodded back. You had a Blonde lass in the passanger seat.
Also saw a blue 182 30 secs later down the highstreet.
The can says about 1-2 hours to touch dry. I did it in full sun and by the time i had painted them and then was the wheels it was dry tbh. I chose not to drive the car once it had done just to make sure though.
I know the enginge is silver anyway but i thought this would freshen it up a bit...
Yup, hammerite smooth.
Any good to use on the eninge or would that require a more heat resistant paint?
HAHA come on, show us hows yours went. If your too embarrassed, pm' me them.
I have foudn the turning on the 182 a little pants tbh. My old punto i could just chuck into a parking space, but the clio seems more reluctant to go in easily. I usualy findmy slef having to reverse out and starighten up, something i rarely did in previous cars.
Ive seen someone do a 7 or 8...
Cheers for the opinions guys, keep them coming :approve:
I think its a bargain of a mod to do tbh.
Yea, i saw how much paint i had left and started looking at the enginge....
Just not sure if the hammerite would cope with the heat though so thought best not to... Does anyone know?
I just left them on. Tbh, ive never worked on cars before so didnt want to be fiddling with taking them off so just used a 1/2" brush.
Boy did i get some looks from the neighbours. One asked why i was doing it because your not going to see them LOL
After meeting couzens today down at frauds i picked upa few supplies and spent the afternoon on the car.

Also, when i had the wheels off i saw just how dirty they were on the inside so gave...
yea bout a fiver i think. Will pick some up in the morning. Dont need laquering or anything after?
Wonder what the weather will do 2moro. yesterday rain, today sun....
If the weather holds out tommorow i think im going to paint my calipers silver to match the car.
From what ive read i just need to give them a quick brush over and then paint with hammerite smooth?
My main question is how long should i really leave the paint to dry before i drive the car?
haha, yea. was on me way to work.
Did you go down the A30 atall? There was a DHL lorry beached in the trees!
Where abouts you live mate? you must be local.
