Bad times mate. Was always hoping to see this make some good power.
Even just reading your sale ad makes you see the great. Spec and time effort you've put in.
Keeping it would be great but guess another rebuild won't be cheap.
Gutted buddy.
help needed and im sure its something stupidly simple.
had the first attempt with mine last night, just checked the card to see how it went, ive a load of mov clips saved but they are all just a black screen when playing back.
any ideas what i need to change?
also where do i set the date/time...
firstly thanks @Auto Finesse for another months test, additionally thanks Aaron for the extra couple of days.
Glisten is the product this month and having used it today, wow this and the recent wheel soap will definately be purchased, love both products.
The car hasnt been washed since last...
Mine arrived today so will be installing over weekend. Any tips for placement of camera or the software set up? First time with a camera so what's the best basic settings?
You'll have to pay the excess only if it's stolen or fire damaged, that's if you claim. So weigh up the value of the bike against having to pay £500 Or £1k
If you crash into someone you don't pay your excess at all.
Andy I'll echo the above and say how gutted I am for you. I had hoped Russ would have fixed most the issues, obviously didn't appreciate how deep they ran. I respect your attitude and commitment to the build.
Hopefully we will see you at combe next month?
I don't think there is a single person...
Spotted silver think 182 yesterday at traffic lights by the harvester, you jumped out to your boot whilst waiting?
Blue 172 heading off the tesco roundabout towards gosport about 10mins ago
Anyone????
Is the 3m cable long enough to reach the 12v socket in a Clio or is a 4m worth it?
Will Velcro hold it securely enough or the suction mounts worth while?
Any other suggestions for buying?
Cheers
The 5th picture down, how much speaker cable do you have bunched up there?
Thinking easiest might be to get the wires from the amp to back of head unit and connect them there.
That or keep the amp but wire the remote blue wire in better
OK let's get the basics confirmed. Sorry if teaching you to suck eggs here.
The three wires grouped together. Red is the live this should go via a fuse directly to the battery. The black is ground and should be short going straight to the chassis. The last blue remote wire goes to the head unit...
As long as no one has cut about behind the head unit you will have standard ISO connectors. Simply plug in.
If on other hand you take the head unit out and have no plugs but a ton of loose wires then that's another story completely I'm afraid
The blue will be a switched live or remote. This tells the amp the head unit is on.
Guessing the clear wires are your speakers so you need to connect these to the head unit.
Start the easy way tho.
Are the original speaker wires still behind the head unit? Will be easier to connect these back...
You say all wires come from the amp?
Did the amp power all speakers or just a sub?
If all speakers you need to wire these to a power source ie back to the head unit.
