Sorry to hijack the thread but, where's the best place to get the sportlines and how much will it cost to get them fitted? or is it easy DIY?

Have just done the dual optic light conversion for my ph1 1.2, but im left wondering how i can clean the inside of the headlights and polish them? how can i get into the casing, as i seem to be making a right hack of it by trying to prise them open? please help!

was wondering the same thing, just trying to get the lens off the headlights to clean them, please PM me if its any easier, cheers.

Ive wired all of the lights correctly but there doesnt seem to be a fuse slot that i can plug into that has connectors. Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a way to get round it? My car is a 1.2 2000 mk2 ph1 if that helps, need any help i can get today! cheers.

Made of money?! will eventually go for ph2 lights, but until ive finished the other bits, il put up with the ones ive got :) would love to sort the car with what you've suggested, but im on quite a tight budget working about 6 hours a week for £3.53ph after school and on weekends :o

You are both right, there is only the half colour coded bumpers on the non sport ph1's, but quite a few of the non sports come with colour coded bumpers, so its just a case of finding a red one :)

Im looking for the red bumpers from the 1.4 I think? there around the same year as mine so colour shouldnt be mismatched either.

the greyish-black bumpers dont have the slots for fogs, but im quite sure most CC bumpers do. Yea probably will get some smoothing done eventually. Does anyone know how much it costs roughly to get bumpers picked up by a courier?

Ive found the guide, so shouldnt be too much trouble, any chance you got my email a while back? basically just asked if you knew jay ledwich, and was it much trouble to paint your bumpers?

just bought some dual optics and a black tinted number plate light so should get them sorted by the weekend

ive decided coils are out.. will be going for springs and maybe new shocks if necessary, funds from a weekend job dont allow coils lol
