I always drop my oil above the drain in the street so havent noticed anything.
Joke....
I also use a magnetic sump plug but havent done an oil change since fitting it. interested to see what I find especially since fitting a turbo.
To be honest my drain bowl is black and filthy so...
You could chance it and give the car a really good warm up before getting it re tested.
Replace spark plugs. clean the lamda sensors depending on how new they are. Coil pack possibly.
Like @Amos91 says I do mine every 4-6k sometimes a lot less if Im bored. What I tend to do every other oil change - which is probably OTT is buy the cheap FS 5w40 from eurocarparts when its on offer - tend to buy like 3x5L and drain my oil, fill with the cheap s**t, run it for 50 miles then...
You are properly hardcore. what are you going to do about all the cables bouncing around when you go over a speed bump etc. Guess you are going to get rid of the stereo. Whats going to hold the dash clocks on top of the steering wheel. Hope you dont regret taking the dash out.
Meguiars ultimate quick detailer is my personal favourite.
Bouncers done and dusted is also good for non black cars, smells like tropical drink.
Dodo Red mist is pretty poor.
Never knew you could use demon shine as quick detailer. I bought a load of 5L containers of it when it was cheap in a...
Those new seats are stunning. Probably less comfortable but look so fresh! The leather sagging slightly on the old drivers seat was the only thing letting it down and now it looks amazing. Nice cage and carbon wing mirrors too.
@Filters That subframe looks awesome - did you get a second hand one and acid bath it and then powdercoat it? or are they available brand new?
Want to do the same.
Think I will go with the Karcher that @V6Dan has kindly suggested. I am kind of tempted to go with the VAX purely based on the colour (stupid I know) as it will match my garage http://www.cliosport.net/threads/doing-up-my-garage.781531/#post-10873350
I was thinking of buying a new wet dry vac for the car but dont know which one to go for. I remember a year or so ago the EU put some new rule in about making them all ECO so now a days they are all really weak.
Is there one that is fairly decent for car use. I was hoping to give my seats in...
Thats a shame - I paid £34 for the basic disc based version. Paying £80 to play it today is too too much.
Love having the digital versions too, so much easier.
I preordered this ages ago - just the bog standard version. I wouldnt mind getting this off LIVE so its on the hard drive so i never need to search for the disc. How much is this on Live - are there different versions ?
Cant wait..

follow that to get into the config page I mentioned above.
Good topic!
I absolutely loved my first 172, kept it for 10 years and sold it when it was on 160K or something. Massively regret it as it was in amazing condition. Here it is my first 172 from back in 2003 or something.
Looks brand new and I think it only had 10k miles on it at this point...
Are you saying you are taking the needles off the dials or you are taking the whole dials cluster off. The cluster just clicks back in to place doesnt it with two pivot points at the top and a screw at the bottom.
You need to go to the superhub webpage and then log in , click advanced settings , click on wireless radio , then you will see this page:
obviously change it to best range. I very much doubt you will ever actually need more than 54mbps.
Wow that looks really really good.
This one looks like it could be used with a turbo as its all aluminium and would seal better than the RS2.
Did you buy this off ebay or do a deal with the turkish guy (really sorry...forgotten your name).
