You shouldn't have to save up for a cup if you've sold a Leon Cupra TDI. Definatley a buyers market at the minute and Cups have come down so much in the last year!
Im with Privilege. Was 21 when I took the policy out on my 172, fully comp with 1 year NCB, mum named driver, was 890. Thought that was pretty good. The compare sites were quoting me 1800+!

I bought a 172 afew weeks ago that had already had its cambelt changed, got the reciept and they only charged the previous owner £325 (6months ago), but that didn't include aux belt, can't see that adding a lot to the cost. Bought the car from Bolton, so that isn't too far from you is it...
