You will definitely feel the difference, I would however join up to CS and you will then be able to get the guide on how to change the spark plugs etc and do it yourself. Easy enough to do.
Yeah, go for it. I didnt need new leads, coilpack or spark plugs but changed all of them anyway and the idle is a lot smoother, it pulls more smoothly. keep the old ones as you will need them at some stage to diagnose running problems.
First thing to make sure is that the wheel will fit the cars bolts. You will notice your car has 4 bolts holding the wheel on and that alloy in the first pic has 5 bolts.
I might be wrong but think you will need to find some 4x100 ET 45 wheels ideally (the ET number is less then the wheel will...
Did you really think posting a bonnet , especially one made of coke can thin french metal would be safe? I would take it on the chin and buy a new bonnet and get it sprayed. @Diagro hooked me up with this link : http://www.cliosport.net/threads/where-can-i-get-a-brand-new-bonnet.774374/
I use ET 45 Turinis (trophy turinis)
I have 16mm spacers:
and there is a 12 mm gap at the shortest point between the wheel and the caliper.
Here is an old pic when i first fitted the kit.
you can see the inside wheel weights foul the caliper so you will have to get the weights moved to...
Easy to fit it all yourself , get some brake fluid off george and an eezibleed kit off halfords, takes an hour per side plus 45 mins to bleed. I can guide you if needed.
Forgot to say @George@rtr (<- dont know his name anymore G172 ) hooked me up with everything apart from the ceratec , his prices were really cheap as yu prolly know.
link to ceratec@...
1) standard discs or get 300mm scenic discs off george you have to buy bigger mounts for the 300mm ones BUT with the 300mm mounts you dont need to machine the calipers (much easier)
2) you will need new lines as they are different fitment...
I always use one of these. Few sprays of bilberry and then agitate and wash off. The alloy insides get washed properly once every few months or when i have the wheels off to do jobs which is surpringly often...
Are the sensors still there - possibly been tucked under the roof lining or something? should just be a case of getting the proper rear view mirror housing and then planting the sensors back in there. You wont need a special windscreen. I think you need some special gel for the rain sensor -...
Had the longest nap when I got home, felt so hungover this morning. Still feel a little hazy but here are my memories:
-Alex's Gearbox or exhaust breaking - cant remember which but he and @HMS Derv Destroyer set up a cliosport garage in the field (had all the tools too) and fixed his car as well...
I drove an A3tdi 170 this morning and it was incredibly dull. I was hoping the acceleration would be OK but it wasnt anything special. Going to see the one in the OP in a minute but cant see myself buying it. Is there such a thing as a diesel hot hatch with a fast engine but really soft...

She said it can be anything as long as its an A3 and black. Going to see this tomorrow.
Need help as I know nothing about these.
I got these ones which are goodridge braided ones from France - takes a week but they are really cheap due to the exchange rate. use google chrome and right click translate - http://www.optimiz-access.fr/freinage/durites-aviation/durites-aviation-clio-2-rs-etrier-clio-3.html

Had 3 over the last 13 years and they have all been amazing. Yeah the odd thing does break, heaters for example like you say can go but cost hardly anything to fix with a new heater resistor thing. Most expensive thing I have had to have fixed is a new exhaust manifold on my old 172 . Oh and a...
