One of these and a male/male 3.5mm headphone jack to where ever you want in the car?
When I had a mk2 I kept my iPod in the little tray thing under the dash light adjuster panel. But that was a nano so I'm not sure if it'll be suitable for a bigger iPod.
Get a second hand ash tray, plumb...
I'm sure itd be fine to get you to a local tyre place... But why not just get a 215/45/17 tyre to put on the 197 wheels as a spare?
And if you get a Laguna/espace spare wheel. Make sure it clears the brembos before you rely on it.
Akras are meant to be the only exhaust that doesn't give a flatspot to my knowledge.
I'd say you were being tame with that description lol. My foot was flat to the floor and the car was going nowhere lol
Mine on 30/40 springs ( that's 30-40mm), no spacers and 225 width tyres.
Could do with 20 or 25mm spacers.
'Cheap' exhausts do give a noticeable flat spot. Mine came with a shitty exhaust and @Euan94 can tell you how bad it is. The car barely went anywhere when launching onto Blyton lol
I'd remove more material from the fouling area on the pad backing plate.
I had a similar problem when fitting rear pads to mine. I had to file off a couple of mm from each side, clean the caliper, shims and grease everything to get them to fit right.
Oem pads too!
Good good :)
I'd just do as Christ almighty said in that case, give them a proper clean, degrease etc.
Scotch brite them, blow off/wipe off all the dust and paint from there.
I wouldn't touch them with anything less than 1000 grit. 200 grit will gouge the f**k out of them.
I'm genuinely not trying to look like a dick, but you're using 'really good finish' and 'applying the paint with a brush' in the same breath.
Are you looking for the best sandpaper to key the original callipers, to remove the paint from the original callipers or to flat the paint back after...
Have a look on 28dayslater or other urbex forums.
Although those lads go into the places, you should get an idea of what's local and accessible via car
Can confirm its fine.
I'm running 7.5" wheels with 225 ns2rs and 30mm springs with no troubles.
@MartinL1993 can confirm its a good combo.
Not the best pic but I'm too lazy to get a new one.
You can see that they didn't roll too far over onto the sidewall. I was running 30psi hot
Our bhp is in bhp, but our torque is in lb ft :D
Clios make around the 150s which is around 200nm so, your bhp seems right but your torque does seem low.
Do you have any specialists near you?
That power is about right for a 197/200.
They tend to average 185bhp.
The higher print outs seem to be optimistic dynos.
But as said, the belts are due a change but don't expect much more power. Does it drive ok? That's all that really matters.
It was the same with the 172/182s, all...
