The end of my road on someones drive was Renault 5 turbo in blue with private plate. Certainly brought back a few memories. It certainly looks very old fashioned in todays fashion concious society although they do say retro is cool nowadays. Took me back did that one.
Lowfields Avenue Ingleby Barwick 1440/1530. Black 200 had private plate Y1 --- looked very smart with black alloys. Saw one of these last Saturday night on the estate but was dark may have been the same one.
Bonxy were you passing the Teal Arms last night around 21.30 on Lowfields Avenue? I passed a Clio Sport but was dark so no idea of colour, headlights were blue tinted which is what made me look.
Inferno followed 3 minutes later by 51 plate 172 in Silver with loud exhaust. Approx 1640 and 43 ish respectively, Queen Elizabeth way Ingleby Barwick.
Some very nice cars today, like the trophys. A change of plan saw me arrive around 3 ish with 3 kids in tow as the babysitting plan went pear shaped. couldn't even go through the car wash as the boy is frightend of it so thats the reason my motor was filthy. Didn't stay long just enough time to...
I look on the Auto Trader most days. The black clio only appeared last night, this morning its gone. Must of sold already anyone on here decided to treat themselves?
My best mate for many years has a meg 225 F1 which he purchased brand new in 2006 . Dark Blue with black 18" alloys it really looks the part and goes like stink. Never has it let him down either and has been totally faultless. I can live with the noise of the 197 and the hard ride as i do little...
Hate Fords but as someone has pointed out as an everyday car it would have to be the Ford. This car also if well looked after will go up in value if you are looking at long term ownership. As i have already stated i am no great fan of Fords but i must say the Mk 1 RS is a very nice car much...
Don't see many Yellow ones around. I saw a Yellow V6 in Brighouse town centre a couple of years ago had to take a second look.I had no idea Renault produced that model in that colour.
At one time would'nt touch one with a barge pole, reliability was shocking. Unfortunately mud sticks and Alfas became a no no hence depreciation. The great news today is that later generation cars are very reliable but still suffer massive depreciation. So you now get a cheap stylish saloon...
I used to have a Megane Dynamique it had the standard 16" wheels . I was going to get some 17" Nervasports fitted as they look fantastic much better than the 18" style fitted to the Megane sport 225 . A new baby came along and that was the end of that idea.
Me 37, Mrs 40 both of us have full no claims and are insured to drive 08 197 cup for £289 a yr. One of the very few benefits of getting older.I'd rather be 19 and single again and paying top wak for insurance though given the choice.:D
