Does anyone on here run a GEN90 ECU with their clio turbo, or have experience of these ECU's?
Im looking to wire up a boost solenoid, but need to know what the number of the pin/port is where the solenoid is wired to, and where in the settings do i assign it?
Any help would be very much...
From what i could see/hear from the pits, chips turbo on the straights was awesome, ive got a video on my iphone of him flooring it after the 1st corner and it sounds the business!!
Dont i know it :banghead: However, i dont think you would have thanked me for being ill all over your lovely dash board... Motion sickness is a problem for me without being hung over ha!
My car is sitting a bit lower now, so next step is to push the wheels out a tad for a wider track... has anyone done this on their cup, if so what spacers did you use? Ideally id like them to sit nice and flush with the wing if possible? however, i dont want to be getting any rubbing. Front...
Yeah i think i remember it too... it was up for £5k then and said to be running 305bhp.
Nearly 6k is strong money for an 02 plate clio regardless of its spec!
No doubt it will be mental though!
I feel I can give a fairly honest overview of this.
I started with a ph1 Clio, sold it because I got bored (don’t know how as bang for buck they are still to this day the most fun car ive owned). Bought myself an Evo 5 that as mentioned previously in this thread was a money pit so I got rid...
Good lad!!
I believe you need to run a specific ECU to keep cruise control like a GEN90
My turbo doesnt have a megane head gasket but if youre willing to remove the head etc then it would be beneficial
Im sure you need a cable throttle conversion unless running a specific ECU like the GEN90...
New Clutch fitted, and then hopefully the EPAS set up from a twingo. Fred is doing it for the first time on Steves turbo, then if all goes well il be having it done to mine. The high pressure PAS pipe split so is spewing fluid out for fun!
Once thats done its time for a re-map and some more...
Nice to meet you at Fred's Steve... For those interested the engine looks awesome!! Seriously cool custom inlet!
I hope the EPAS works as expected on yours so that Fred can fit it to mine!
Haha less of the little girls car, it's a cup don't you know ;-)
I see where you're coming from... The front mount kind of gives it away a little though. The verdict has been decided, the sticker is going!
Im the same, i drive mine nice and easy for the last 5-10 minutes, if ive been hammering it up to my house, i just take a quick trip round the block to cool it down.
Does anyone else notice on their clio that when they park up they can still hear the turbo spinning? on the other 2 turbo'd cars...
Im running a genuine disco potato (Garrett GT28RS) in my clio, and its spot on :D lots more to come from it once the new clutch and mapping is completed if thats any help?
Mine is my daily, new clutch and remap to 250bhp in a few weeks... May drop in some different internals n go for 280-300 end of summer if 250 gets boring :-)
