im going to draw smiley faces in the dirt, although everyone knows it will never get properly dirty, I saw the looks of actual pain on your face when you saw my car dirty
omg this rattle!!! why wont it stop!! if you see that i stop posting its because ive driven the car into a tree in the hope of stopping this annoying rattle!!!
goes back april 20th but ill probably hand it back a month or so early to get into a new car for spring.
I dont think ill be getting another z4, as much as the M// tickles my fancy. I fancy something with better noises
they really are a cracking motor if you doing a fair few miles, I am now a little bored of it but i get bored of everything after 6 months unless the loud pedal makes good noises like the z4.
well i thought id do a quick write up after 250 hours driving time
time spent - 250 hours
miles driven - 7800
months owned - 6
Average speed - 32mph
Average MPG - 50.2
So I have now well and truly run this car in, 1st 3k or so the car felt quite tight and new, from there on in it felt lots...
just put the dash and engine loom from the ph1 in, and then from there work out which parts of the mk1 loom you need, it will probably be a case of swapping connectors
The aston has a sense of ocassion something the R8 is completely lacking imo.
its not the fastest, the most powerful or the most well built... but my my... look at it!!
you waould probably want to budget 38-42k for a good aprioved aston example.
clutches are common on cars ~6 years old and about £3000 to replace.
20mpg is achivable on a decent drive.
we had 2 grandsrtand tickets between 4 of us, apparently the start of the race was amazing from up there, we were on the banking and im short so didnt get to see much in all honesty.. grandstand for us next year
