looks a minter mate - good photos too - colours are really clear
Ive done the same - had a brand new 172 back in 2003 - bought my rb in Nov 2013 - they are great cars and such a bargain these days. Mine is having an engine refresh over the next week so should be tip top then
My sister picked...
Did you know this was previously featured in French car magazine?
used to have unbelievable amounts of carbon on it and the bay looked amazing
i still have the magazine here
Cool looks mint mate!
stevo still has the meg then - one for me to buy again one day maybe!
youll have to come to next meet mate - mad we are both back in clio's - amazing how many of us have done the same!
Looks good but sidecstrips need painting red - few people have done them black over the years on various colous and never look right in my opinion.
they are a Matt finish from factory but look far better smoothed and lacquered
I've been to every fcs so far - today was by far the worst turn out since the early days!
The weather may have had something to do with it but that had nothing to do with the lack of traders - was really poor on that front
my car was on the Samco stand and I noticed how quiet the trade area...
Hey cool - glad your going on the Samco stand, I'm going to hide mine on there too hopefully - hide due to not having sorted out the bay yet so shouldn't really go on their stand but I'll just stick loads of Samco stickers all over my car!!
ive got some clear side repeaters you can have too if...
Look mint mate - I'm trying to find somewhere round South Wales to do mine - there's loads about but best I've found is £69 a wheel and I think that's pricey
what sort of price did you pay? How long did they take?
Tell me about it - was like that when I bought the car!
Problem leaving them fitted while cleaning is they take ages to dry properly especially as it's still cold outside so will be still wet when you let them wind back in - perfect if you want to replace the dirt with mould!
Wasn't difficult - have to remove the rear door cards then just a few bolts - took me 2 hours from start to finish to fit both including cleaning all under rear seats, hoovering behind door cards etc
lol - wait til you see the polished it's going on the 182 adds - I've spent the last 6 months...
The polorised bolts are 30% stronger/tougher than standard bolts mate - they shouldn't rust, I sent mine back to tpi for same reason and they sent me a new set - worth a try
lol - DAZ! can't beat it for incredible whites!
just put them in the kitchen sink to soak for an hour or 2 then went over with a stiff valeting brush on both sides, put back in to soak again then repeat, rinse then allowed to dry thoroughly
thats as far as it goes and thats pushing it - think they get away with an exhaust too but in theory nothing that would add power but guess they have to push things a little!
Bought my 182 6 months ago and the stupid silver seatbelts have bugged me since day 1 - anyway got another 182 just before Christmas to break so kept myself the seatbelts - they were just as filthy as mine but at least I could have a go at cleaning them off the car and could let them dry...
From Belgium - they aren't allowed to mod engines power wise so go different routes
i saw it at fcs last year as well as in PFC last month - amazing amount of detail - leather bay is properly crazy
