Chip will tell you exactly. But roughly, slightly high comp pistons, forged rods. Cams, Ported head, one piece valves, ATpower ITB's and mapped by chip on Omex. NOT going for big power at all. Just over engineered for reliability and longevity.

Do the mounts make it really harsh and vibrate alot? cant be that bad if your mrs has them on a daily driver? I seem to remember Fred saying something about them... gonna do a search

I could see the see a low mileage V6 going up in value. maybe a mint MEGA low mileage 172cup or Trophy going up as well

They are the same seats! just a lighter/cheaper material on them!

It is a tiny bit weird to most people.... but if you have own or have access to lots of cars then you just start judging them on what makes you smile rather than what badge is on the bonnet or what they cost. My Little sister who drives my old Boxster everyday and drives any of my cars whenever...

Good point Chip! need to drive a normal cup back to back with mine! Normally loads at a Trackday. Shouldnt be a problem to get a drive of one :) Sooooooooooo excited about my little clio. Even more so now seeing the spunky engine pics...

This thread is making me realise how much I want my Clio back!!!!!!!!!!!! Just found out its got a Neil Roper ported Phase 1 head now as well and stronger valves :) Cant wait to drive it! hope I can actually feel the difference lol!

Totally agree with what Chip said... Clios are awesome cheap trackcars. Start spending money on them and they start to make no sense at all in grand scheme of things! P.S I am doing the total opposite myself... having a forged internals, hi comp cam'd ITB, gripper diff'd car built as we...
