I found this yesterday, it's a free 3d modelling app, and after you get your head around it, it's brilliant for knocking up quick models to see how things will fit, before spending time modelling them up properly in a proper programme.

Because my iPad has replaced my laptop, both in function and that it never leaves the house, bar to go to another house, I can't wait to get an iPad pro.

Tbh, if I was in your position, I'd probably have the camera rolling from the moment I pulled up at mclaren to the time I left lol
Also, I've been to the mclaren site (well, the roundabout outside). We stopped for pics at 2am en route to goodwood and got told off for posing with the sign lol.
I noticed it on my commute when I was just pootling along, i had the blowers on hot on my hands and it was starting to sag from driving with one hand.
So he doesn't need to be going full hero to have it happen.
The wear comes from the s**t material Renault use to cover them.
Tell him not to squeeze it too hard when it's hot. I found that accelerated the melting.
A general (diluted) all purpose/leather cleaner would do to keep it clean.
I wouldn't know what to treat it with though as I don't know...

Although I think it's been too long for tardis to work, I'd try that first to see if it touches them.
Failing that, clay, lube and polish
