the other one couldnt be reversed so would have to be mounted on the front of the rad, but there was no room so thought id get this off ebay, now jobs a good un'!

Went to the scrapyard to get a new hose and been to Euro car parts to get a new thermostat which opens at 88degrees, so hopefully thatll be the last of the coolant problems, all fitted back together and bled the system running sweet again :D

well atm i have no job thats why its gave me time to crack on with this, until i find a new job everythings like on hold now altho im doing the trackday at Oulton on the 1st september.. next plan really is a baffled sump, full cage, oil cooler, maybe relocate...
To say im happy is an understatement... 80quid 2.0 Zetec E engine with the 1800 conversion parts and just breathing mods = alot of fun in a mk2 fiesta haha
Got there at Mikeanics hopeing for around 160bhp and 135lbs ft...
Made 172bhp @ 6700rpm & 145lbs/ft @ 5700rpm

Andy came round around 10ish this morning, so started out by dragging the 1800 out from under the car then , Swapped the waterpump over, all the tensioners and Cam belt, re-timed the cams up too, Lightened flywheel and helix...
the 1800 made 158bhp and around 125lbs ft with the Piper 285s... im sticking with the standard cams in the 2ltr for now, should be around the same 160ish and around 135lbs ft
Progress yesturday -
Drained the Oil and Coolant and disconnected all the coolant hoses
Disconnected the gear linkage
Disconnected the track rod ends and pinch bolts
Removed axhaust manifold and system
Removed alternator
Removed the starter
Remived the carbs and inlet manifold
Removed...

and yeh was awesome!
Found a 2.0l Zetec E yesturday, 70k came out of an Automatic too, and already fitted with a 1800 sump and pick up pipe which is 2 out of the 3 things needed to go for a 2.0 over a 1800 :D
So set off at 6.30 this morning...
