Tried the clutch before to make sure it 100% fitted the 1800 flywheel and it does so when jon comes to time the cams up ill ask him to take the flywhell away to be lightened and balanced...
Laquered the rocker cover so now its finished -

Cam belt pullys/tensioners repalced and torqued up to the correct setting as the Crank pulley and placed the new cam belt in place ready for when re-fitting the cams and also re-fitted the bottom part of the cam balt covers -
then wire brushed the old primer off, etch primered it the 2...
Dropped the Cams off at Jon @ Shawspeed yday... soon as he gets them back hes gonna come round fit/time them up for me then i can ut the engine all back together then ready to go in
FRST/ERST Helix Organic clutch arrived today -
as did the 2m of 13mm silicone hosing for...

so much better than i thought done about 50-60miles yesturday bedding them in... cant wait to use them at Cadwell now once they're warmed up!!

nope... Cadwell then going to Ford fair then do the engine/box swap/conversion then see how i am for time after then... HOPEFULLY should only take about 2 weekends and some evenings to do, if the weathers on my side that is... would be so much easier if i had the space for the engine at my house...
you'd be in with a chance even if the 1800 was in... its not gonna be the fastest thing in the world, probs will be a little quicker than the ZS was, but should be alot more reliable than the original cvh and the old ZS engine...
yeh the cvh will still be in for cadwell...

Stripped this lot off the engine -
Manifold & downpipe, Inlet manifold and fuel rail, 1800 clutch, AC & PAS pumps and pulleys etc, Sandwich plate for rear mounted starter motor, breather hoses...
also took the old oil filter off and removed the HT leads the re-fitted them using WD40 on...
yeh it cuts in at just under red/hot lol
Just purcahsed a brand new ERST/FRST Helix Organic clutch :approve:
Going starting some progress on the engine later too.
Also just sent an e-mail to a supplier for silicone hoses as im going to get the Carb hoses in red (43mm) and paint the Rocker...
Yeh with the 130ps cams your looking at 120-125bhp ish without the inlet and body imo
ive just got the same engine altho youll have to do a little mroe work than me to fit it in.

Picked up the S1 RST box earlier -
Bolts, sanwich plate fpor the starter and one of the mounts -
Just payed the Deposit for my Inlet Manifold...
i dont NEED one but maybe something to think about in the future

Right after the the hero momnent on saturday i sorted the exhausrt as it was 0.000001mm off the floor...
Saturday morning took a trip to Mikeanics to make sure its all running right for the next 2 months so it lasts lol...
He said it was running rich so he had to change all the jets now it fells alot better now figures dont reallysay that tho..
Made 117bhp @ 6.3k and 107lbs ft @ 5.4k.. both...
