Clio Alarm on a FF 172 mk2, was this an optional extra?. I cant see any evidence of an alarm on mine and if i lock it with windows down, it doesnt go off.........infact ive had it a year+ and its never gone off once..... BTW tried the search for this question, no joy.... Cheers, Si

I ended up getting one for my 172 mk2 for £100 sheets from a local scrappy, then got it sprayed for anouther £100, where as the dealers wanted silly money like you have been quoted.

There 50 grand cars, what can you expect hehe!.

Theres a littke box under the bonnet to the right of the air filter, there in there i believe (but also fuses).

Most of the time its all bollux unless u have been ragging the hell out the car and in the Turbo range all the time, its just wasting fuel. Taking it easy on the way home has the same effect, ive got one on my other car tho lol.

File it down so its not round? then get some grips on it?
