This has been solved. Transpires running 4k on your HDD vs your SSD is the main problem 👀 Moved the game into my SSD and it runs like a dream. Luckily, our resident @Chode Lint is kindly also shipping me another SSD to wang in, so I’ll have more space.

Since the recent season 5 update (the one about 2 weeks ago), I’ve been suffering pretty severe packet burst in every game mode (multiplayer, BR and DMZ). To the point where the game is basically unplayable. The people I’m playing with aren’t suffering the same problems in game. I’ve checked...

I’m 4 hours in and it’s improving slightly. It’s not blown me away as much as I hoped it would, but I’ll persevere and see where I get to.

Just as a heads up, I’ve run up and down the A43 stretch between towcester and the M40 twice in the last two weekends. Both times there has been a speed van on either the gantry, or one of the lay-bys near the Silverstone junctions / green man inn way.

When the flamer was charged, Anglesey and Oulton on sunny days were the best trackdays I ever did. If the weather is ok next year, and CSF24 is back at Anglesey, I’m hoping to run the QV.
