Rock used to be and am guessing still is decent oil.
A flush can start to shift and break up bits you don't want moving round the system, sludge from b9ttom of the sump
It's a 4-2-1 so physics says it's better. And it will give gains.
Pointless looking at figures though as a pretty much standard healthy car can make anything between 165bhp and 190bhp.
I've had them with 197 cams that have struggled to make 180bhp but have still gone like stink and the owners...
182 exhaust manifold and throw a decat on.
Your enlarged throttle body was a waste of money by the way. No gains from it whatsoever, pisses me off that people who sell them say you will get gains from them.
People generally go boost because of costs, £150 for a churbo off eBay, £100 for shitty manifold and that's the bulk of it.
Compare that to best part of £2,000 for a rotrex belt driven turbo pretending to be a supercharger and turbo suddenly becomes appealing!!!
Watch this space though for a...
a low boost stock 197/200 engine would be great and would still drive more like an na than a normal boosted engine. just do it properly, no chinese shite turbo, tubular manifold, custom pipework no bigger than 2" and a decent exhaust and you'll be laughing ?
i've also got an ly in that's going...
The 14t would probably be a better choice over the 16t.
Don't mix and match the upper and lower inlets, needs to be as smooth and even as possible. What's wrong with the plastic one?
Probably about twice the weight of a Clio and as aerodynamic as a brick so that's probably as good a test of it's cooling capabilities as a session on track?
For how good the system is as standard it should cope anyway.
Thinking about it mate of mine has just put a vag turbo engine and box in his shitroen h van and I gave him a Clio rad and fan to use on it, he's been running that without issue.
