I have no experience with refurbing wheels.
I managed to get 4 williams wheels cheap because one was seriously damaged, turns out it's split and is really beyond repair.

I've seen some FK coilovers on ebay
Guy says they were bought from ktec and they are the fixed damper ones
I've got a valver, according to the kTec website these are just for the williams.
But then the kTec wesite states that the GAZ coilovers are a "worthwhile upgrade on any Clio 1.8 16v...

My 16v crunches into 3rd every time.
I can stop it by matching the revs exactly on the way into 3rd (it's been good for practicing my heel-toe).

Just spoke to a mate who said his valver oil temp never really went above 100 degrees. Mine rests up at 155 degrees once fully warm doing about 4krpm on the motorway.
Why am a so darn hot?
P.S. Just changed the oil and filter.
Just got my valver, VERY pleased
BUT!
Very occasionally it slips out of 3rd when i step off hard. The stick itself also moves quite a bit stepping on/off. Otherwise the gearbox feels fairly sound.
I thought it could be the engine mounts but I don't get excessive engine twist when revving on...
