This is why i wont let anyone other than a specialist on here touch my car. My local mech gets all the mainstream sort of work i.e brake pads, shocks, etc etc
Whats that all about?? i mean does it come through your speakers??? that does sound gash or it could be a laugh if you could upload different sounds lol
I did the same a while back mate, all i did and i know its not ideal is use a touch up pen to cover the scratch, obviously untill i get them refurbed.
Mine looks ok as there matt black.
Just re-read your post, Try and buff it out if paint is still intact, should be ok.
Re: Urgent help needed removing sterling wheel.
haha, i put the same comment in this thread a while ago looking back at it. i did mine twice as it wasnt quite right first time. Just be careful removing and replacing wires u will be fine.
Yeah it was difficult. didnt know it was electronic till got in the car after!! He already had it in the air when i come round to help lol. Anyway lesson learned an all that.
Thanks.
^^^ thanks, i'll remember that for next time :S As said with a normal handbrake you just let it off and carry out repairs. Never done a electronic one before.
Hi there.
Just fitted some rear pads on a mates megane scenic. Did the ns rear fine but when tightening the wheels bolts after doing the os rear i noticed the car was moving as the handbrake was off. On start up i was greeted with brake failure as i was pumping brakes!! maybe should have pumped...
^^^ same all mine have had a high biting point. first time i drove my clio away form a selller i stalled lol
I normally test this on a car i want to buy. put in fifth at low speeds and accelerate, if the revs raise without the car moving the clutch is slipping.
