Yeah it is pretty bad, I was never one for cleaning engine bays as it's a horrible job! But yeah it's because the slam panel is removed!

Yeah very happy with the cage Ollie, doesnt look a lot in comparison to some of the other build threads around atm but the chap that did mine basically said... "I can build you a pretty cage with lots of metal which will be heavy and impress everyone, or I can build you a cage that will suit...

Ah there we go then! If the immobiliser doesnt let you communicate with the ECU then that would be the reason why you cant look at anything. When it was plugged in it just came up with an immobiliser problem, when they went to see what else they could see they couldn't see anything. Which is why...

Yeah plugged it in to Renault Clip which said a fixed immobiliser fault and there's no feed to the ecu. Tried several decoder rings to no avail also. Got another interior loom from a 172 cup and still came up with the same results. :( Havent tried a looking for a feed at pin 30, what does that...

Trophy had a better setup for a/b roads rather than track, which is what the 172 Cup and the other Cups were better for. To be honest the differences in times/pace with a normal driver in the car will be negligable anyways so its pretty pointless stating that.

This, but then there are too many people on here that buy trophies and never drive them as intended, plus clean and store them like there a Ferrari F40 or the likes...

Gave it a half arsed clean for the first time in 3 months I think its been today, put the black 2118's on with the R888's also. Still needs a lot of work but slowly coming together, still a few bob to spend though! Cheers Nick

Only just stumbled across this thread! Cars looking good so far, good to see another car that shall be racing in the Tintops in the not too distant future! I've a got a way to go before mine's ready but cannot wait, should be a lot of good competition out with all these CS racecars popping up! :)

Fair play for making that up, sharpant you could just reflock the dash and it would look like the rest of the dash anyways. I'd of personally tried to make the face more towards to the driver for ease of sight when on track but as said good job!

Couldn't agree more! Hence I have the cup and then a 'boosted' Audi which is comfy, quiet and quick! Oh and quicker on road than a Clio! ;)
