Not true. I ran it supercharged for nearly 2 years and multiple track days.
Then in between clio and golf, there was;
- a fully loaded 3.0 V6 f-pace
- an S6 estate (4.0 twin turbo one).
But if Carlsberg made clios…. 😜
It won’t make any difference at 20 degrees whatsoever.
If the engine temps are getting too hot, it will be more likely you’ve been out too long more than anything.
I ran my old supercharged (standard block) in 30+ at Oulton and the temps were fine.
Any difference in performance will be so...

No MOT or tax between 2016 and 2019.
Equally, not taxed or MOT’d between 2020 and 2022 and in this time, zero miles.
That’s at least 5 years of it not moving. So I’ll be amazed if mechanically it doesn’t have some issues. I understand you want to keep cars low mileage, but in my book, no miles...
Don’t worry if you’ve not been before. It’s like a large gathering of the inbetweeners, half of which are socially retarded (myself included) and so you’ll spend the whole weekend laughing away to yourself at how such a good natured bunch of misfits have managed to find their way to each other...
