Completely agree with Mark, people are too obsessed with figures and have to think about the real world.
My Type R is slow as s**t in an everyday situation. Every car on the dual carriageway will stick with me. Unless I want to drop down several cogs, that is tiresome.
If you constantly...
So went down to Turweston Aerodrome at the weekend for DC13. T'was a good day, could have been even better if they actually advertsied the event, but hey was chilled vibes.
Here are a selection of my photos, also took some go pro footage so will make an edit when I get time.
Enjoy.
Great...
I love how this has started out from the VS thread and now here you are with one on your driveway. Love it soo much.
Colour is not to my taste. And seats are a bit bulky for sports seats, I prefer slim Recaros to bulky ones, they look Astra VXR'y (this is being picky).
However everything else...
Do both. Save up for a RS in 1 or 2 years. Own it enjoy it then your life situation will be completely different in 5 years, but yeah, get a GTi then. You never know you might have even more money and cars may have depreciated even more so you'll get more than a Golf.
With cars, think of the...
I was wondering how you got a Maccies breakfast on the way home..
Then realised you we're home for 830...AM !!!
Wow, dedication, but my other-half certainly would not entertain that.
Great barge none the less. I will own one on the other-side of 30.
I think they look stunning and love the wheels, it's a shame they are dog slow like the Lupo GTi. I know they don't mean to be quick as it's a warm hatch, but if it had some poke I'd love one.
Oh how the internet is deceiving ;) I certainly would not advertise as mint. Completely dent free bar what's left of this one, but quite a few battle scars from previous owner and alloys are awful.
Looks fantastic, coilovers, stage 1 and finish I would say. However I'm sure springs would be a big enough drop.
It's safe to say that those reps were utter s**t, wide offset looked awful. ED30 wheels are EPIC.
Finally found a dent bloke that wasn't charging £90 to remove a simple dent bang in the middle of the N/S door.
Paid £20 as he couldn't get it 100% out as the metal had stretch as it was such a sharp dent, as you can see MUCH better than before (almost un-noticable to the camera).
Before...
Player source constantly when I finished my GCSE's like 8/9 years ago. Grew out of that then downloaded Source for the Mac a few months ago, back in love.
Add me tomhop88 - Can't play 1.6 on Mac without parallels :(
What the f**k !? It's £135 flat rate. Well that's what I paid, never knew they have started charging per adjustment (like they should).
I don't get on with ABP to be honest. Wack up your print out :)
BTW, all of the above is a bargain, usually to do all that your looking north of 500.
ABP...
Looks great. Sportlines are quite a big drop - you wouldn't want to go any lower !
Are you going for camber arms on the rear ? Or just modifying the existing arms.
