Nice !
First Astra looked very quick indeed.
Can I ask why you are on ClioSport.net with no history of Clio's ? Granted, it definitely is the best forum.
It's a heavy car on cheap coil overs that are not set-up. I think that's your problem. I would have my car too if it droves like a bag of s**t.
Raise, track rod ends, bushes and FRSU.
Woah, I wouldn't have even offer 1.5k less than. Just walk away, you know it wouldn't have been look after. Unfortunately there are a lot of shitters about, just like any car.
I know I am biased, but I would certainly look for an ED30, it's definitely worth the extra premium, IMO. What is your...
Have to agree with you Jason, really am loving mine ! Although, personally I think an S3 is the next step. And that's coming from someone with a KO4 - if they had AWD I wouldn't be saying that.
Tempted by this ? Where's the cheapest place for one ? Shop to - 448 inc FIFA and free delivery looks best guaranteed for XMAS - not with quid co though.
I had V12's on my Civic, epic tyres. It doesn't feel like the understeer is from the tyres, rather the set-up of the car. As below really.

Yeah got Eagles all...
Thanks - was looking for an R32, but gave up when I realised the insane tax bracket just for NOISE.
Didn't think there was many on here tbh. French people tend not to like build quality :quiet:
Well after another long search for the right car I have nailed it on the head again, so pleased.
Set out looking for a MK5 Golf Gti in black/grey pref, 3 door manual and 17' alloys, not the chav 18', for the right price with Cambelt, Flywheel and Clutch, you wouldn't think that was hard, but it...
PM'd.
Haven't driven it since I picked it up :O But it's a nicer place to be with a million and one gadgets, where as the Civic has none, bar elec mirrors.
Will write up a new thread in a week of so.
Well, the car sold today and has been taken away.
To sum up the Civic Type R, it's basically and out and out thrash car. Weekend car for definite. VTEC ? Overrated, I just don't get it to be honest unless you have it as a track day car.
However, the gearbox and gearstick position are sublime...
Good news on the strut update, shame you don't get petrol reimbursed !
Car looking epic on track btw. So close to getting one but pussied out on Renault build quality with regards to the GB/Clutch/Fly.
