To be fair in all this the ruling seems weird or there are facts we dont know . Representing yourself shen being sued for 20k plus is naive to say the least
And after doing trackdays since 1989 .... and I have no idea how many but it will be 100 + ...... I have only ever been at 1 day when...
Harbinger Please explain to me how the bloke who got sued could have paid £100 and stopped this
FFS FOR THE LAST TIME YOU CANNOT GET 3RD PARTY COVER .NOTHING COULD HAVE COVERED THE CIVIC DRIVER NOT A SINGLE POLICY IN THE UK WILL !!!!!!
And I have been doing car and bike track days since 1989...
trackday cover in the uk is not as great as you might think , its expensive ,the exces is normally 10% of the vehicle value or more , and does not cover mechanical damage .
for a start greenlight are not an insurance company , Chaucer are ...... pretty basic to understand the difference between a broker and an actual insurance company , unless Neil tells me differently
it can all go wrong so easilly and that disclaimer does not say there will be no claim , and in fact all parties that would have signed such form didn't claim , the insurance co did , its a bit similar to the ring issue you legally are covered for 3rd party , but your insurer will come after...
I remember back to the days when a road policy company was taken to court and paid out the car ran out of brakes and hit a tyre wal ..... that was circa 96/97
Insurance issues on track days have long been issues for tdo's and users .... total minefield and being honest I would need to read the...
was valued at 35 to 40k , basically an old maser that some swiss nutter fitted a one off bodykit to back in the 80's
a bit of research shows it was once white with the worlds most god awful rear lights , it also seems to have been punted from dealer to dealer in an attempt to shift it before...
Nothing ..... there is a first aid kit and triangle in the spaces they come in other than that I hate clutter
And just for clarity the brealizer law was suspended indefinately by the french interior ministry not that they ever enforced it anyway.
i don't disagree but are they slats , i have looked a few times and sometimes i think slats and then i look and it might be a graphic ....... the tell would be the diamond quaterlight as that would not change but it was more sold in the usa and there were loads of modded ones sadly .
its difficult to say its not , and its difficult to say it is , it has a fair few trademarks of a pantera including the flaired front arches however the rear quaters don't look the same and i can't see the trademark diamond shaper behind the door in the rear quarter. also no upswept exhausts...
pantera without a rear wing ..... proper 70's icon car
At least looking at the huge rear rims , arches , rear window etc , there are so many versions of it over its years and body kits and mods done to them they are often hard to pin down ,,,, huge haunches and stupid rear tire width is...
all he said was he was in a car accident and has side damage , why are you all assuming someone crashed into him ? maybe he misjudged and pulled out on someone .... ????
just a thought , the insurers will sort it out , no need to really say any more than that for now .
So you have identified to areas to improve .... you will also find sprint cars more softly sprung than circuit racers often to make use of cold tyres etc .... lsd is going to help along with a setup change ..... are you doing all events on the same course ?
bolt to hub standard bolts, as the bolts to the hub are separate bolts and loctited in , you then just have a regular setup as for as wheel fitment goes
worth finding a driver coach with sprint experience although have heard good things about prescot days in the past , depends whether your championship is at a single venue where the course secrets help alot or multiple venues.
there would be a couple of things i would be looking at .
You say more competitive , how close are you to the top cars in your class ?
Next look at what they run , scrute bay at an event is the place to be , look make notes ,and if your not comfortable get someone else to do so (do it before...

because your clutch friction plate is slightly touching the flywheel , thus giving a small amount of drive .....
and by doing it you will wear your clutch out faster than normal , however that's likely to be the least of your worries.
