please bear in mind that electric motors do give vast amounts of torque at low speeds.
Their torque is proportional to speed. As the speed increases the torque gets less. So the 1000Nm is not really comparable to 1000Nm from a petrol or a diesel.
still though, 12 second quaters, that is rapid.
I'm doing a peice of work at uni and need to know what battery renault fitted to the 1.8 16v MK1.
It's likely to be exactly the same battery they put in the 1*2s and maybe even the ones they are supplying in the 197s
The CCA (cold crank amps) and Ah would be nice, or a model number would be...
omex doesent seem all that TBH. Dunno why everyone bothers with it when something like emerald is around. Especially if you live fairly near norfolk where dave walker maps emerald.
relocate your battery to the boot and then postition the cone behind the headlight and run some straight-ish tube to the throttle body.
May even gain something there

It's an interesting point. But I don't agree. Engineer things better. If it's got the torque, it needs to be able to deliver it without relying on the electronics to save it.
Just poor engineering IMO, which is a shame considering the rest of...
Have a look what PH make of the V6:

They are harsh...a little too harsh i think.. but fair.

Mine will not load, it just hangs after log-in. I think I have the yahoo "live" or whatever option, but can't turn it off until I can get in.
that's driving with testicles!

i'd get the powerflow custom made one. I'm not sure if ktec's 172 decat pipes are anything like the 182 conversion length pipes, but I wasnt very impressed by the 182 conversion length pipe.
