The analogue stick had been done before...
But yeah Nintendo have made some of the best games ever although they have always screwed Europe over and I believe many of the SNES games you buy on Wii are not 60hz version but the slow bordered European versions!!
I think they started losing it...
Another sh*t thing with the Wii, when we first set it up it wouldn't connect to that Nintendo shop thing properly.
According to some Nintendo help thing my bro went on we had to change some setting in our routers wifi set up. Some SSID channel thing which was on 6 by default but we had to...
My bro pre-ordered two. Both were accepted but I told him I didnt want mine so he cancelled it - and boy am I glad.
His arrived today. Firstly the signal quality from the boxed composite cable is sh*t. We played FZERO on it and it looks worse than when we plug the SNES into the TV!!!
Wii...
Same here, 360 adapter works great and had no problem setting it up for the WEP etc.
Dunno how you set it up to work with WEP etc when using a bog standard bridge like that?
There was a thread about this a while ago. Some guy here had bought a Philips LCD TV which wasn't HD Ready even though the website was misleading and kind of implied that it was.
The story is about that kind of thing. I know a number of people that have LCD/Plasma TV's that are not HD Ready...
I always preferred IE to Firefox as the latter seemed to me to be a load of hype that most people used just because it was fashionable. Kind of the iPOD or Audi TT of web browsers.
Have to say though with the two latest versions of each browser I much prefer the layout of Firefox and use it all...
Got an English version from Amazon for £480 with the kit lens.
Just set it up and took a few pics of my parents in auto mode and it is bloody brilliant! My point and shoot always produced really crap noisy images with poor white balance and loads of red eye when taking photos indoors under...
If you fancy both then get both.
I usually end up buy all of them eventually. The exception will be the PS3 which doesn't offer more than the 360 aside from a higher price tag. I expect I will get a Wii to compliment my 360.
Pity that Nintendo didn't get together with MS and just release their...
Yeah it was £480 from Amazon - but comes from Pixmania!
So I assume that means a French manual and they usually give you an adapter for the plug for free.
Trouble is with a point and shoot I can live with a French manual but a DSLR is another matter....
How can it be biased when stating facts?
I mean you can't play a game whilst downloading a demo!!! There is no unified friends list and you have to quit your current game to access the master list? You have to connect the pad via a cable to pair it! Also the pads don't have removable batteries...
I thought I read on here (or a link on here) that the 360 actually sells for $70 or $90 more than it costs to produce. Of course once the retailer and distribution costs have been taken off MS still lose a bit of money but so do Nintendo I expect.
Apparently though Sony sell the PS3 for $200 or...
Last night a friend of mine was showing me a house in a road just off Craven Way right near the Tower Lane roundabout near the Ring Road.
I won't mention the road name but anyway there was what appeared to be a Silver 172 on the driveway of one of the houses and it was dark but I could have...
Doom on my 486 back in the mid-90's. First game that actually made me jump for real. Anything before that was not really up to it from a technical point of view and the level of immersion generated.
Thing is I actually find cars interesting so would rather watch/read serious reviews than a load of b****cks!
If Clarkson wants to do entertainment then he should do it but stop doing fake car reviews! I am surprised the manufacturers even bother giving him cars.
I think fuel takes a long time to go off? Over the winter I can sometimes go a month without riding the bike and it still starts and runs fine.
Others go for 3 or 4 months.
Can be a problem with modern fuels and carbs as it evaporates and leaves this really hard residue that requires the...
Ok so we all know he can talk b****cks at times but this time is worse than usual.
I have no interest in buying and won't defend a 197 as for me it is too slow for the money but I think he is wrong to say that people don't want hot hatches anymore.
In fact the man is a complete p*nis.
The...
Saturday night on the Ring Road sometime after 9pm having come from Warmley to the traffic light controlled Syston roundabout on the Ring Road. Personalised plate and aftermarket exhaust. Turned right to go towards Mangotsfield/Webbs Heath/Warmley direction.
Lunchtime heading down the Ring Road from the Aspects Leisure Park roundabout down to the hicks gate roundabout and turning right towards Brislington.
Couldn't tell if it was a 172 or a Cup but it had an aftermarket exhaust although not a massive one.
Couldn't tell how many occupments but I am...
Do you want a DSLR to show off and wave something expensive around in public (like half of buyers) or do you have a specific area where you find your current camera has a weakness?
Otherwise you may miss the live preview, ease of use and lense range once the novelty has worn off.
Also once you...
You might get a Fuji S9500 within your budget or the S5600 for £140.
They are kind of halfway between a DSLR and a Compact.
You haven't got DSLR money unfortunately. The halfway house cameras are good, not up to DSLR standards but much better than many of the cheaper compacts. Also with the...
Yeah I think you would continue to have trouble shifting them until they come down to £5k or so.
I have the option of buying mine outright or handing it back in just under a year and am not sure. I only have 11k on the clock so seems sensible to keep the thing but then it is french and if it...
Do you work at the Shell Garage or the Willy Wicket pub?
I'd say they must have been doing well over 100mph or the driver was so smashed on drink and drugs that he didn't brake! I have seen my mate spin his MR2 in the wet at about 40 and it didn't even hit the curb on the outside of the...
Hmm yeah how fast??? Reminds me of an accident that occured near me at the weekend. 2.50am Saturday morning, 3 lads in a 306 collided with a wall and all were killed. Weird thing was the road is wide, smooth, straight and in a 30 zone....
So it would be slightly better at wide angle compared to my 3x optical compact but won't have as much zoom?
The problem is if I get the 400D body with the lens I want I am gonna be paying over £900!!!
The other problem is that compacts are sh*t and I am fed up of their limitations! Ah well...
I have been looking at the Canon 400D.
I am a n00b when it comes to DSLR's so can someone explain if you have an 18 to 55mm lens what is the equivalent zoom level to that of a compact digital camera which are always quote as 3x, 4x, 8x etc.
Came up behind me, I waved and he flashed his lights.
Personalised plate, can't remember it! Couldn't see any stickers but then it was rush hour so had to keep my eyes on the road.
