There's techniques to driving through deep water, You will see a wave form in front of your vehicle, The key is to keep that about a foot infront of your bumper, If you go too quick you catch up with the wave which is the deepest part.
Or just go round a different way.
Finally finished it off today pretty much :)
Only thing i need to sort is the speakers as i have a s**t old samsung surround sound, I will be getting something else in the future. The picture quality from my Optoma GT 750 is awesome.
Pictures: (iPhone does it no justice)
Don't bother with it.
You won't see any noticeable difference other than noise with any induction kit, Go for something like this if you really want one: http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=530&appid=4

Then you want a nilfisk pressure washer.
I don't think Trophy's will drop more, If you can find a mint one with good service history there will always be a demand for a car like that.
A 172 is a 172 really, It's a nice car but not exactly on par with a trophy. I have both and the trophy really does feel special when you drive it.
These might solve the issue:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-Clio-MK2-Top-Strut-Knocking-Fix-x2-Washers-1-2-1-4-1-6-1-5dci-2-0-Sport-/130665046452?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Model%3AClio&hash=item1e6c3e61b4
It's obviously personal preference, I just thought I'd throw it out there to be honest. A golf would be where my money would go with that budget but i do alot of miles.
I only really like the mk7 fiesta.
Not been funny but for 5k you can get some proper nice motors,
Insurance is often cheaper on some Audi's, VW's than the more common "first" cars, It was actually cheaper for me to insure my old A3 2.0 170 then my 1.6 clio. 5K Gets you a nice golf or a higher mileage A3.
My trophy is easy enough to live with, The Recaro's are way more supportive than the 172/182 interior, I find them really comfy.
The ride is a little harsh but not massively worse than my 172 is, Didn't you lower your 172 anyway?
Good luck finding one, I'm sure the right one will come up...
The seller is me!!
We have run out of stock so iv'e put the price up to stop people buying, More will be in in the new year, I have a couple about i think still and can still supply them at £16.99
