Audi a3 2.0 DSG.
Was abit strange at first but i love it! , Build quality is sublime. It's so stable at 70-80 compared to a clio. Mid range torque is great and the handling isn't as bad as i had expected it to be. It's not quite as fun as a clio but for day to day driving it's fantastic, So...
There is a place in Birmingham that powndercoat wheels for £20 each. They fully refurb them aswell and do a top job. It's called citypowdercoating.
Not worth the effort of doing them yourself to be honest.
Recent set i had done:
Just purchased a das 6, What pads & polish would you recommend Gally? .
My cars fairly new so there is only very light swirling to correct.
I have menzerna super finish 4000 & power finish + AG super resin polish.
I had these fitted for a good while, They are ok but they have nothing on coilovers, I found the handling no better with these on that standard springs, When cornering the car felt bouncy and rolled a fair bit.
If you want them for lows then they are fine, Personally i would just go straight...
Looks nice, Needs the splitter and spoiler though, I think i prder the silver wheels to anthracite as they make the car look fresh.
Exhaust looks a bit wobbly?
What's this place called? Why not buy a well known , well made of the shelf exhaust. I'm thinking Miltek, Yozza etc. Much better quality than most of these custom places. The systems are usually welded while you wait so they do a s**t job. There are a couple of decent custom places though.
I don't have an issue with him buying to make money, it's just the way he goes about it. I find him rude to be honest. If he just PM'D people instead of posting his offers in a public forum it would be better.
He kept sending me offers for things on ebay aswell, I told him that i will not take...
