have had to do this on a few of my 182's :( ive never had to spray a full wheel - just managed to get a way with spraying the odd spoke with rover stone grey - really pleased with the results - never had any wheels flake from the repairs ive done!! (but i have from garage repaires :rolleyes...

LOL :) acid based cleaner may help and you could always spray the inside (nice silver :S
