I did do yep before I reinstalled OSX. I also ran a defrag a few days back.
It seems a lot faster now - I'm going to take everything off of it tomorrow once I've got a new external network drive for my iTunes library.
Thanks mate. I tried that a few days back, didn't really make much difference though. :(
Once I've got all of my files off of the 24" I'll do a complete wipe and reinstall and then sell. If there's any interest PM me!

Cracking little lens - tempted to buy a light box now for some more fun!
Cheers Tigger!
The focus is a but slow, I have a 70-200L so the focus is usually instant!
However, I'm not going to be photographing moving things with the 50, most things will be tripod based I guess so I won't really be in a rush to take the snap!
Got this Lens yesterday for my birthday, went for the cheaper 1.8 - the images coming out of the camera are amazing ... total sharpness.
Took it around London yesterday to have a play, took this in Hyde Park:
I think I'm going to have some fun with this one!
I got mine replaced yesterday ( for a different issue) and asked the same question ...
Every "replacement" phone has a quantity of refurbished parts inside them, they have no idea which parts are new and which are repaired ... feels like a brand new phone though, they'll never give you one with...
I'm debating whether to get a new MBP ... not sure if I'd win her over with that idea though.
I could threaten her and tell her that she needed to use her Windows laptop?!
