Right so the 197bhp Golf, faster than the Clio Mk1 172? I thought so until the other night... So we are sitting at the lights and i pulled away kept up with him until 4th gear he got in front of me marginally (half a car length) but he wasnt for getting away from me, i though these were faster...

Hey guys both these lights come on when i first start the car for about 30 seconds then they go off again? The guy i bought it from told me that it could be from the fact the multichanger under the drivers seat could be creating some sensory problems? Anyone elaborate? Regards!

Right so i own a Y reg 172, am i right in saying that the phase one has the exact same engine as the phase 2? Are there any other major diffrences bar the Xenon Headlamps and rear bumper?!?

IS there any benifit in having Drilled or Grooved discs with standard callipers, i think they may need changed soon (3 months or so) And i quite fancy the idea of having Drilled discs or grooved discs. Am i right in saying they drain better and cool quicker also? Regards, Dan

Hey guys was just wondering if anyone on here has had the Turbo kit from K-tec fitted? ITs about 6-7k i think and take the 172/182 up to 250bhp running at 12psi (I think dont quote me). Anyone had this done? They say it does 0-40 in sub 5 seconds??? Regards!

Hi what are people running PSI wise in there tires on the standard 15" wheels on the MK1 172? The maximum psi is 51 i beleive? Regards
