Not sure which looks better the colour or the B&W and the last one i struggled to get in focus in AF and MF with it being really dark inside and i was tucked low in the corner.
Thanks for that Aaron, at first i thought it was like copies. I use to sell lexus style tail lights years ago where they use to be in white boxes i.e. cheap.
This morning looked at the Cameras price list and kit bundles. Cracking price on the 6D body only, is it worth pulling out extra £££ for...
Not too sure, I was hoping this time round their wouldn't be another HTC One series but there is, a big revamp. There is nothing wrong and very pleased with my HTC One still like brand new. There's no other phone that's jumping at me other than an iPhone but not too sure on that due to the...
Just been searching again online prices for the 24-105mm L series and found this

Cracking price, anyone used them before...
Don't think i'm going to bother with it now tbh, just read a review on techradar and doesn't look good as you lot say. Think i'll hold on to the HTC One for the time being until something else pops up and just loose my 10% discount.
My mobile is up for renewal now and i'm about to ring up and ask about and Pre-Order the new HTC One M9. Before i ring up, I'm on EE Friends and Family for 15+ years since T-Mobile with 40% Discount at this present time. What deals are they to be had, is it possible to get?
Thanks for that, sometimes i have no idea if it's a good picture or not. It's good to have other peoples comments and views. Great picture by the way very slick and amazing poses
As Aaron said go to a shop and try different models and brands you might not like the way the button layout and the way it grips. The entry level is the Canon 1200D iirc. Best way to go to start off getting to know the settings ISO, Aparature and Shutter. The editing stage can't change...
There's a couple more i took but it looks like some a very slight out of focus, either by putting on the Filter or the waves hitting the tripod or the wind cos it was very windy. I see on Flickr B&W is very popular like Aaron
Thanks Aaron, took a few as you say the waves was in and out so this one was about right. Was wearing my wellies too lol, came prepared this time. Do you think this will be better than the colour version. I'll post up a couple more
Also the guy you teaches the class said to me about that Curve...
Went down here again and still i was shitting myself, tide was coming in and one fall and hit my head i'd be a gonna. Took a shot in colour but converted in B&W. Took a few more different shot but these two are quit good
Re take of this shot, 30 secs i stepped back a bit to get more of the water and less of the top of the building as last time. Plus a little bit more of the left of the building. The river wasn't as busier so to speak as the other.
I'm popping over to Seaham tomorrow for more long exposure shots
I'd like too but I'm at work and can't leave at all. They mentioned don't leave the camera looking at the sun for a length of time as it will damage the sensor, something along those lines. No idea if it's going to be a clear day like today has
Awesome picture Tony, seen on Flickr just now and going through some other ones of yours and one caught my eye over 23,000 views wow lol.
This looks like a oriental syle buildings on the sides and new modern up front with a black mirror style water, how do you get it so mirror like, is it cos...
Well had really good positive feedback from the the Boss in class just now and the other pupils. I'm quit chuffed. Think the best one they liked was the Fulling Mill Post#1456.
I'm getting a new lens as a present in a months time and i'm 50/50 on the 24-70 L IS USM or the 24-105 L IS USM. I...
Went back again just now, car parked up to the left of the Mill. Couldn't get a better shot. Did manage to get longer exposures using the cable i got some in between 25 and 60 secs.
It's got the thumbs up then? i took another 5 shots one of them had the lens cap on still and the other ones weren't focused in properly cos when i was putting on the filter. I'll try it in Bulb mode basicly try and experiment eh
I this ones ok then i'll add it to my 5 shots for class.
Thanks...
i took this quickly after work as it was spitting then it rained so i left it until tomorrow. Was my first time using the ND filter just then. What's the proper way to use the camera after you screwed it on? I.E adjust the settings, focus and so on? I just did look through the view finder then...
Thanks for that. I need to bring in pictures that I've taken this year. The one with the morning mist was taken couple years ago so need to replace that one
Also it's my last beginners class session this Wednesday and i need to bring in 5 pictures to see how far i've progressed. What do you lot think i should take in by what you've seen on my Flickr or on here? Was thinking about taking some night shots been really cloudy so no star pics but car...
Yeah i just got some quick shots there Aaron, i was quit exited there and cautious as the tide was coming in and once it's in there's no way out other than swimming in the English channel lol. That beach where i was at yesterday is a really good spot of a beach it's not really for public as it's...
Haven't got a ND filter for the 18-55mm just my 50mm and i didn't use it today. Was just checking out the beach first time i've been to this one. Be going again very soon with my 50mm and filter for some slow shutter speeds. Ooooft
Took this in Seaham today and took my tripod with carry case for it. Put the case down cos it was a nuisance and carried on taking photos and when i finished i couldn't find it lol. Either 3 other photographers who was there took it or i forgot where i placed it and maybe it'll be in the North...
