Well its not getting sanded down to the bare metal (apart form the bits its reacting on) but its close, the legs came out ok. Il post some pics up later of the finish.
Cheers Pete
Having a bit of trouble with the halfrauds paint reacting with the cross bar for some reason, rubbed it down to the metal now so should be ok ! The rear legs are done just the cross and hoop to do now. Going to be a bit of a mission to do the hoop in the garage :S
If this is what the metro was sold on for iam disappointed Pete :dead:
Only joking mate, looks to be a good project. Should have kept it racing blue tho mate !
Is Tim doing all the paint himself ?
I thought this would be my time to shine, but looking at most of my pics when there have been meets iv only got about 5-6 decent ones !
Think we need a proper photo meet soonish :S
Il post mine in a minute
Re: Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/428s/Wilwood/2118
No not yet mate, i know they have been mega busy what with all the ford shows they have been attending this summer, and still developing parts for the focus and fiesta which is fair, seeing as that's where the majority of there custom comes...
Precisely mate there 'show' cages :S
Ah il arc weld some scaff polls to it mate and have me a full on climbing frame in there, no dash dodging here
Trust me mate i doesn't weigh that much, il weigh it later then weigh the rear seats but i highly doubt the gain in weight would be noticeable. I can lift the entire cage on one finger.
6.7kg it weighs.
There awesome mate, takes about 30 seconds to do each one.
