Maybe a stab in the dark here. But 2 of the starter motor holes on the box are elongated. So the posistion of the starter can sometimes alter when refiting due to dowels missing etc.
Undo the three starter bolts and check that the starter is near on flush with the bell housing then bolt back...
Take 3 inches of each end. It will look wicked!!!

Read a fair few things now Dave and most point to earth on n/s/r light or fuel pump relay in fuse box in engine bay.

+0.18v is what that chaps meter was reading.
Toad imobiliser is no more.!
Put the alarm into valet mode and un spliced the two wires that was going into the ignition to imobilise it. So the wiring is now what it was before the toad was spliced in.
Yes seems very odd as there is power going to the pump but no prime. As said dave dodgy...

Had my gearbox rebuilt on thursday at Agency transmissions had all bearings seals and pinion shaft replaced.
Bit of a retarded question but does the box need a run in period or can i just give it death? ;)
