My router is a Thompson gateway v585. Since I set up all the correct ports forward I've had no issues.

Thats what I have done in a few cars and both my vans. PDA holderon a vent, in car charger in and AUX lead in. Job done

I use a PDA holder off e bay. It clips to the vents in any vehicle and holds my iPhone firmly in place.

It's the strict NAT that is messing up your games. You will be über lagging with that.

bizarrely my insurance has randomly sky rocketed. i have had all sorts of daft / nice cars insured for under £700 over the years and now, with 7 years NCB i cant insure anything for under £1000 a year. a 330ci is £1300 for me to insure a year, ridiculous

Get a 4 instead of a 3GS. I'm still rolling with a 4 and I love it, it's the display for me that makes the 4 so much better than the 3GS.
